Case for Kung Fu Flash 1 or 2

This is a 3D printed case for the Kung Fu Flash or Kung Fu Flash 2 cartridge. It was made to resemble classic C64 cartridges.

The case is printed either using PLA or PETG material in a colour of your choice. If ordered with a finished Kung Flash board, the board will be mounted in the case, ready for use. The label will correspond with the Kung Fu Flash version ordered. You may of course request either of the labels, whether you get a board to go along with your case or not. The case itself is exactly the same for either board version.

The case can be used with 12 mm tall tactile switches mounted on the Kung Fu Flash (2), which are tall enough to reach out through the holes, or with 5 mm tall tactile switches using the supplied 3D printed buttons. A 3.5 × 16 mm Torx T-10 wood screw is supplied with the case for assembly.

If you have special wishes for the case or button colour (i.e. case in one colour, buttons in another, or colours not listed, etc.), please reach out before ordering, and I'll see what I can do.

Note about colours:

• Glow-in-the-dark Green is a very light colour in the daylight, and it glows a faint green in the dark.
• A1200 Off-White is our best attempt at matching the (non-yellowed) shade of off-white/beige of the Amiga 600/1200 machines. While a 100% match is likely impossible to find, this comes very, very close.
• Semi-Transparent is (like the name implies) not fully transparent, but you can see the contour of the board, sort of like through a matte filmed window.
• In general, the colour examples shown here might be slightly off from the actual product. Photographing colours and representing them accurately across various very different and very unknown screens is hard, if not impossible.

Please note, when closing the case for the first time, warming up the screw a bit with a soldering iron before tightening it or similar makes the case easier to assemble without gaps, at this will make the screw slightly melt the plastic on its way through.
